Philip Serras, P.T. and Rodney Ramirez, P.T have worked together for 7 years since graduating with certification. From 2000-2007 they worked at Forest Hills Physical Therapy and Therasport Physical Therapy here in Astoria. In 2007 they decided to open up their own office, right here in Astoria to do amazing physical therapy in homes and an office setting in the Queens community.
Phil Serras, PT
Earned his degree at the Hogeschool Van Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 1999. He has been a physical therapist since 2000 working in the outpatient and home care setvices setting specializing in sports related injuries, orthopedic care, neurological disorders and geriatric care. In 2004, Philip volunteered for the Summer Olympics in beautiful Athens, Greece. There is where he treated world class Olympic athletes. Through hands-on treatment techniques, Phil has helped patients regain strength, improve balance, decrease pain and improve overall function.
Rodney Ramirez, PT
Earned his degree at Hogeschool Van Groningen in the Netherlands in 2000. He is a licensed therapist who has worked in a variety of settings and has extensive experience in home care, hospital, and outpatient clinics. He specializes in orthopedic sport injuries, geriatric care, and neurological disorders. Rodney utilizes a manual therapy hands on approach to decrease pain, improve range of motion, increase balance, strength and highly believes in patient education for continued success in strength and good posture for independent activities of daily living.
